Christmas Day

We had to spend the night at Grammies on Christmas Day because our car got stuck on their hill. Good thing we threw in our sleeping bags just in case! This was a crazy holiday week with all this snow!

For a year when everyone was going to "cut back", our kids sure made out like bandits! They got everything on their lists....except Matthew didn't get an electric guitar!! Over my dead body!

Here's Grammie on Christmas night with all of her crazy grandkids! It's impossible to get a good smile from all of them at once!

Our new family tradition... the "ladder picture" every Christmas. Charlie is finally barely taller than Grammie. You can see Shelly Kay hiding behind Denali, holding him in place... he kept running out of the picture. We put Grammie in since she will stay the same height so that you can see how much they all grow every year!

I may have been a little aggressive with this tree! It takes up half our living room! Good thing we weren't expecting much company this year!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

SNOW on Camano Island... Brrrrr!

Nine inches of snow on the sport court for five days now!

Looks like mom's not going to work again today! Fun, quality family time abounds!

The boys are LOVING the snow!

Three boys in a half-built igloo.

We have been snowed in for a few days now. The boys are loving the snow and out playing even on the coldest of days! They have been building an igloo in the back yard, skiing on the path beneath our house, and sledding in the neighbors yard. I did most of my wrapping, almost done with Christmas cards... just trying to decide how to get out to do the rest of my shopping! Where is my Amazon order? What UPS can't make it down my road?! Yikes! Good thing I've got an understanding family. You may all get pictures of your gifts instead!

We love you all - Merry Christmas!

Christmas Tree

This year we picked out the perfect tree in record time! That's because it was mom's turn to pick! Charlie helped saw it down.
